How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

VidSpectra makes it easy to change your subscription plan at any time. Whether you need more features or want to reduce costs, you're in full control of your subscription.

Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher tier, you get immediate access to the new features and increased limits.

1Go to Billing Settings

Click your profile icon in the top right, then select "Billing" from the dropdown menu.

2View Available Plans

You'll see your current plan highlighted. Click "View Plans" or "Upgrade" to see all available options.

3Select Your New Plan

Choose between Pro or Premium plans. You can also switch between monthly and yearly billing.

4Complete Payment

Review the prorated charges and confirm your upgrade. Your new features are available immediately.

How Upgrade Billing Works

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll be charged the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan. For example, if you're halfway through a $15/month plan and upgrade to $30/month, you'll be charged approximately $7.50 for the remaining time.

Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade, you keep your current plan features until the end of your billing period, then switch to the lower tier.

1Go to Billing Settings

Navigate to your billing page from your profile menu.

2Click "Change Plan"

Select the plan you want to downgrade to from the available options.

3Confirm the Change

Review when your new plan will take effect and confirm the downgrade.

Important: When downgrading, make sure to save any content that might exceed your new plan's limits. For example, if you have 100 library items but are downgrading to a plan with 10 items, you'll need to export or delete the extras.

Switching Between Monthly and Yearly

You can switch between monthly and yearly billing to save up to 23% with annual plans:

Canceling Your Subscription

If you need to cancel entirely:

  1. Go to Billing Settings
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Complete the cancellation survey (optional but helpful)
  4. Confirm cancellation

Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You can reactivate at any time.
